Basic Information
N27 Serum-Free Supplement (50x) is supplied in a 50-fold concentrate; simply add 1/50 of the volume to the culture medium to achieve the final concentration. This highly concentrated formulation makes the N-27 serum-free supplement convenient to use, reduces storage space and shipping costs, and ensures consistency with every use.
It is intended for use in cultures requiring strict control of insulin concentration, such as the growth of neurons in the hippocampus and other parts of the central nervous system, to meet these specific needs. It is intended for use with Neurobasal or Neurobasal-A medium.
