Basic Information
Cell culture inserts are widely used in cell-based experiments, including co-culture, chemotaxis, cell migration, cell invasion, and drug transport studies. Permeable supports effectively improve the culture of polarized cells by allowing cells to secrete and absorb molecules from both their basal and apical surfaces, enabling more natural metabolism and closely simulating the in vivo environment for the culture of specialized cell lines.
