Basic Information
Collagen Type IV is a major structural component of the basement membrane, forming a network around epithelial, endothelial, muscle, and neuronal cells. It plays an important role in regulating cell adhesion, proliferation, differentiation, and tissue formation.

NEST Mouse Collagen Type IV is derived from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) mouse tumor and supplied in 0.05 M hydrochloric acid (HCl). It is primarily used as a thin coating on tissue culture surfaces to promote the adhesion and proliferation of various cell types, and is also suitable for studies of cell differentiation, morphology, migration, and invasion.
