NEST Collagen, Type I is a purified Type I collagen extracted from mouse tails and supplied in 0.02 M acetic acid. As a major component of the extracellular matrix (ECM), Type I collagen provides physical support and biochemical signals for cell adhesion, migration, and differentiation. In 2D coating applications, it promotes the expansion, chemotaxis, and specific differentiation of various cell types. In 3D gel applications, it mimics the biomechanical and biochemical properties of the native extracellular matrix, providing cells with a more physiologically relevant microenvironment.
This product is suitable for the culture of primary cells, stem cells, and cell lines, and can also be used for tumor cell invasion assays, vascular organoid differentiation, and macrophage culture and differentiation.
